Internal Culture

Teamwork is essential in business organizations as it fosters a friendly atmosphere and loyalty between employees and employers. Also, it enhances motivation, thus aligning them to work harder, increase cooperation, and support one another (Ataman, 2020). Additionally, successful teamwork establishes an employee’s engagement and wellbeing, where talent retention faces competition in the job market. Both engagemet and prioritizing wellbeing are among the success strongholds for Google and Tesla Inc. (Bariso, 2018; Zucchi, 2019) Besides, practicing effective communication is paramount in facilitating high performance in employees’ teamwork. Communication keeps employees updated as well as building trust through listening and collaborating when airing ideas and opinions.

Delegation and enhancing efficiency in teamwork provides sound ground for teams to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their members since they are adept at identifying aspects of their mandates and allocate tasks to appropriate members. Efficiency in completing assigned tasks becomes evident as members become aware of their capabilities and abilities of the group in general. For instance, success of the leading auto maker Tesla Inc. is belief of the company’s team that they can gain advantages over other automakers in direct sales (Zucchi, 2019). Thus, they organize workload accordingly and setting standards comfortable for all team members. Also, sharing ideas on work specifications and offering support, especially during challenging times, establishes strong teamwork.

Effectiveness of inter-professional teams and partnerships are achieved through effective communication strategies. Teams succeed in projects and are made strong to execute duties according to the required specifications (Moira, 2016). Communication and holding regular meetings with the team proves to be a better strategy for team as everyone involved gets the opportunity to be present and understand various views and opinions entailing to projects. According to Gallo( 2019), Amazon – a leading online retailer, holds regular meetins where all participants communicate clearly, and use finely prepared PowerPoint presentations. Scheduling these regular meetings requires participants to assign timekeeper and understanding agendas before time to prevent time wastage. Additionally, being inclusive, transparent, and honest in communication attracts trustworthiness on members. That enables employees to fully execute their duties in confidence, thus delivering impressive results on the projects.

Another communication strategy for improving relations among the professional teams is showing respect, acknowledging mistakes, and using online collaboration tools. Everyone in the team ought to be respected regardless of the position they hold since they play significant roles in the assigned projects and tasks (Utley, 2020). For instance, after years of studying effective teams, Google found that respect and trust in teams is paramount (Bariso, 2018). Respecting colleagues show appreciation of their input on the projects, which in turn makes them strive to produce better results. Also, accepting mistakes and adopting better online collaboration tools simplify communication, and members do not repeat the mistakes which improve the quality and quantity of the assigned tasks.
