The candidate’s presentation material and technical details were valid and proved a great extent of credibility. However, during presentations, her vocabulary and explanation seemed a bit scripted. I told her about this, and she said that she felt nervous since English was not her first language. She ended up preparing extensive vocabulary before presentations, so the outcomes were deemed scripted. She also conveyed her aspirations about getting into leadership roles and understood communication is an essential skill for leaders. I advised her about enrolling in practicum, on which she enrolled in several leadership communication courses that were open for employees. The candidate saw this as an opportunity to develop and took it as a challenge. Over a few months, she became a good speaker, which eased her conversations with the higher management.

  1. Question 3: How does the applicant’s performance compare to that of other well-qualified individuals in similar roles? (E.g., what are the applicant’s principal strengths?)

(Recommended word count: 250 words)

I have admired the candidate’s name for her work commitment. She has an approachable disposition, and I built trust with her potential over the months to a point where I could assign her some work and she got it done effortlessly. Her most splendid strengths are that she can understand a holistic view of the projects she is working on, anticipate future needs, and produce safe solutions. In addition, she can make calls during critical times, which reduces work pressure. She also has significant concern for her team in that she always respects and protects her team. At multiple times, she praised them for their exceptional work. There have been multiple scenarios where she chimed in seamlessly to defend her team during meetings. To me, it’s a unique attribute for a young person in their 20s.

  1. Question 4: Optional info

Candidate name always mainly talked about how she wanted to pursue MBA from a reputable school where she would begin pursuing her career in leadership roles. I liked her for maintaining optimistic traits and how career-driven she was. It amazed me to think about when she came for an onsite interview after giving birth four weeks prior, which demonstrated her commitment to her career. I am happy that she is taking the time to accomplish her dreams. I believe she will be an excellent candidate for the program, and she would add much value to the program. I wish the best for her.
