Close project activities should always be done prior to project completion to avoid unfavorable and adverse outcomes. For instance, it helps ensure all documentations are in place before the day of project completion. Note that a lack of documentation or failure to produce project documentation promptly has regal ramifications during an audit (Ramos, 2003). Also, completing the close project activities in time helps make all payments prior to the project competing. This is critical so that there is no financial baggage that would prevent completing the project. One should avoid pitfalls, such as closing the project with incomplete documents, such as a lack of relevant signatures. Also, avoid releasing team members before the closeout is complete. Thirdly, avoid the delivery of uncompleted or unacceptable deliverables.

Typical ethical issues include accountability, conflict of interest, workplace culture, health and safety issues, and prejudice, and favoritism. While one may shift blame, hide, or cover the adverse outcomes, an accountable project manager owns their mistakes and failures. Since each organization has its cultures, project managers must align themselves with that culture to foster understanding and teamwork. Also, project managers ensure team members understand the objective and goal of the project to mitigate conflict of interest. Project managers are obliged to uphold high standards of safety throughout the project. That way, they should raise the alarm immediately if they identify a hazardous situation and ensure that team members engage in safe practices. Lastly, project managers should uphold civil rights and ensure everyone is treated fairly by working against prejudices and favoritism based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or other criteria.

Christian worldview claims issues about morality. The leading principle is love, as it is the greatest commandment (Mat 22:38). Therefore, Christian project managers love everyone to ensure they are safe and healthy, peaceful, understanding, humble, and with no ill intention. According to McKay & Whitehouse (2015), Christians are guided by moral theory, to do only that which would not consent to activities that cause harm to others.
