Accepting the $10 million donations will help Children’s Hospital facilitate the purchasing of specialized equipment, building amenities and sponsor therapies that meet the needs and wants of children; thus, maintaining their health as well as improving children’s lives in the hospital. The major disadvantage of accepting donations for naming rights in Children’s Hospital faces the challenges of understanding the terms and keeping up with the givers after donations. In this case, changing the name of the Children’s Hospital department to donor’s desire does no good according to her mission. It raises moral concerns as clothes promoted are considered not suitable for preteens and teens. Also, donors later ask for additional favours after contributing since they argue they have taken part in controlling and developing the hospital.

The most appropriate donations without naming rights for Ashley and Mitch clothing would be volunteering and delivering items to the Children’s Hospital. The motive behind donating money to hospitals should be put into consideration rather than employing unnecessary guidelines limiting donors from contributing. The motive for donating should go hand in hand with specifications attributed to bringing mutual benefits to hospitals and donors.
